Smart Moves Play Place™ is a STEM-themed indoor play centre offering Drop-In Play, Birthday Party Packages, Home School Rooms with Wifi, and more. Based on the four tenets of innovation - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math - Smart Moves Play Place™ offers a totally unique experience of learning-through-play, delighting and engaging children ages 6 months to 12 years old.

Smart Moves Rules

Welcome! Playing by these rules is a SMART MOVE...

  1. Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their own children. Smart Moves is not responsible for your children's safety or any injuries that may result from unsafe play or inappropriate use of playground equipment.
  2. Smart Moves is a "socks only" environment for all patrons. Socks can be purchased at the entrance desk if you do not have any.
  3. Please ensure that you and your children are free from illness.
  4. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal items.
  5. No outside food or drinks, please.
  6. Smart Moves is a nut-aware facility. Although we ask patrons to be considerate and nut-free, we cannot effectively monitor or guarantee a nut-free environment.
  7. Food must remain in the cafe area or the party rooms. No chewing gum permitted in the facility.
  8. No costumes, glitter, sparkles, or sharp objects on clothing or body are permitted in order to preserve the safety and playability or our play equipment.
  9. In order to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, management reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate your visit at any time.
  10. Rules and Policies are subject to change as management sees fit in order to ensure safe operation at all times. Please inquire further if you have any questions.

Entire Facility Disinfected Daily

We use an e-mist electrostatic disinfectant sprayer to ensure that every inch of our facility is disinfected for your visit. The e-mist goes to work laying down an even, uniform and wraparound layer of germ-killing power.

Smart Moves is a SOCKS ONLY environment. All children and adults must be wearing socks at all times to keep our space clean and safe.

Why STEM?

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, or, STEM, is the fastest growing and most influential sector of our changing society. Studies show, however, that Canada lags behind other countries in preparing its youth for the STEM-centric world of the future. Many agree that we need to recreate the way we teach, learn, and think about STEM early in the education process.

At Smart Moves Play Place™, STEM is all around us. Each of the four party rooms is uniquely themed with either Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Equipment and activities illustrate STEM concepts like velocity, levitation, and gravity. The halls are decked with local examples of STEM-at-Work and the climbing wall doubles as a periodic table.

Smart Moves Play Place™ provides a clean and healthy environment for children to actively explore STEM through physically, socially, and mentally enriching play.
